Coloring

In this chapter you learn how to fill the selected area with any color, a pattern or a picture; how to contour the selected area or a layer; to adjust color of the image by means of commands Hue/Saturation (Tone/saturation), Color Balance (Balance of color), Variations (Variations), Curves (Curves) and Levels (Levels); how to use tool Color Sampler (Color sample), to obtain the data about several colors; to change color by means of command Replace Color (to Replace color); to make the color image black-and-white; to increase or reduce color saturation by means of tool Sponge (Sponge); to mix channels, using command Channel Mixer (the Adder of channels); to apply a layer of neutral color, to underline colors of the image; to color the halftone image; to create and unpack channels of custom colors.
