Creation of the channel of custom color

Special (custom) color can be placed in own separate channel. Then after a color separation this channel appears in the form of the separate printing form.

1. Activate palette Channels (Channels) and drag it aside from palettes Layers (Layers) that it was possible to see at once two palettes.
   
2. From the menu palettes Channels (Channels) select point New Spot Channel (the New channel of custom color).
   
3. Click on the sample of color (fig. 11.40) and if it is necessary, by button Custom (For choice the user) to open dialog box Custom Colors (Colour for choice the user).
   
4. From pop up menu Book (Book) select variant Pantone or other system of colors, then select any color and click by the button APPRX.
   
5. At will. To change a method of display of custom color in the channel, enter new value of parameter Solidity (Density) in group Ink Characteristics (the color Characteristic). At value of equal 100 % color will seem continuous, at smaller value it appears more transparent (we tell, as if a varnish of the given color).
   
6. Click by the button APPRX. New the channel of custom color automatically receives a name of the selected color (fig. 11.41). Any dash or an image element created at the active channel of custom color, will have this color (the following section see).
   

The remark

For change of color in the channel of custom color by name the channel twice clicks, then fulfill steps 3-6 (see above). The channel will be automatically renamed according to new color, and all пикселы, concerning this channel, change the color for the new.
