Chapter №17.
Operation with the text
In program Photoshop the text is vectorial.
The text in program Photoshop has rigid, accurately certain boundaries because the program at creation and text change uses a vectorial circuit. At the same time the text is raster and has the same resolution, as the ordinary image. Irrespective of, whether print the text on the printer supporting PostScript, or save in format PDF or EPS, it does not change resolution and looks same accurate.
But there is more to come, in program Photoshop the text can be changed immediately on the image, to appropriate to each letter the attributes (for example, a font, a size) not only during typing, but also after it.
In this chapter you learn how to create, change, move and bend the text; to change attributes of letters and paragraphs; to transform the text to raster representation; to change a text background; to fill the text with the image by means of command Paste Into to (Interpose) or groups of cuts; to create the disappearing text; to work with the selected areas in the form of text characters; to add the text in the channel of custom color, and also to create a text mask for an adjusting layer.
