Filters

In program Photoshop by means of the filter it is possible to receive an innumerable amount of effects, beginning from small magnification of sharpness and finishing ridiculous distortions, (fig. 18.1). For example, filters Blur (Blur) or Sharpen can be used (Sharpness) for hardly noticeable retouching of the image; filters Color Halftone (the Color raster), Find Edges (Selection of edges), Emboss (Relief) or Wind (Wind) - for brighter effects; Artistic (Art), Brush Strokes (paintbrush Dabs), Sketch (Sketch) or Texture (Texture) - for creation of the image "drawn" manually; Lighting Effects (Effects of lighting) - to illuminate the image.

In this chapter methods of application of filters are considered and the torn examples on this subject are resulted some, and also the illustrations showing to possibility of various filters in program Photoshop contain.

All filters are grouped in 13 categories enumerated in menu Filter (Filter) - fig. 18.2 see. The imported filters appear in own submenu (the recommendation on
