The water color filter

To transform a photo to a water color picture it is possible by means of filters Minimum (Minimum) from submenu Other (Others) and Median (Median) from submenu Noise (Noise). Compare them to filter Watercolor (Water color) of program Photoshop. The example of application of several filters to one image is more low presented.

1. Create the counterpart of a layer which is necessary for transforming into a water color picture.
   
2. Activate the counterpart of a layer and execute command Filter> Noise> Median (the Filter> Noise> the Median).
   
3. Move a slider of parameter Radius (Radius) in an interval between digits 2 and 8.
   
4. Push the button APPRX.
   
5. Execute command Filter> Others> Minimum (the Filter> Others> the Minimum).
   
6. Install a slider of parameter Radius (Radius) on marks 1, 2 or 3.
   
7. Click by button OK (fig. 18.123-18.125).
   
8. At will: Fulfil menu command Filter> Sharpen> Sharpen More (the Filter> Sharpness> Sharpness plus).
