The main convergence on filters
Application of filters
The filter can be applied both to a layer as a whole, and to its selected part. Before to apply the filter to the selected area, it is necessary to shade it that it was not too selected on the image after a filtration.
Some filters can be applied immediately (selecting an appropriate command from a submenu). Other filters can be used, only installing certain values of variables in a dialog box. Selecting menu command Filter> Last Filter (the Filter> the Last filter) (key pattern Ctrl+F), it is possible to apply repeatedly the last used filter with the same characteristics. For setting of other characteristics select the filter from an appropriate submenu. To open a dialog box of the last used filter in which the last installed characteristics will be displayed, push keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+F.
In mode RGB and Multichannel all filters are accessible; and in mode CMYK, Grayscale and Lab Color - only some of them. Filters are inapplicable to images in mode Bitmap and Indexed Color and to images in which it is necessary 16 bits on each channel.
