Saving of a dial-up of actions in a file

Actions are automatically saved in dial-ups of actions (the dial-up can contain as one, and some actions). To save a dial-up of actions in a separate file, it is necessary to carry out the instructions resulted more low. Afterwards this file can be used on other computer, and also it will serve as a copy to prevent casual loss of the data.

  1. Click on a dial-up of actions which is necessary for saving.
  2. In the menu of palette Actions (Action) execute command Save Actions (to Save actions) - fig. 20.23 see.
  3. Enter a file name in which the dial-up will be stored.
  4. Select a place where this file will be placed.
  5. Click by button Save to (Save). The new file will be considered as one dial-up irrespective of number of the actions entering into it.

Council

If, pushing ALT key, to drag action from one dial-up in another it will automatically be copied.

Where actions are stored?

All actions which are visible in the list of palette Actions (Action), are stored in file Actions Palette.psp. This file is in the directory of adobe Photoshop 7.0 Settings. Actions are stored in this file, will not be replaced yet or while the file will not be remote. Casually not to delete a dial-up of actions, save it in a separate file!

For more convenient access save the created dial-up of actions in directory Presets/Photoshop Actions. Then these actions appear in the lower part of the menu of palette Actions.
