Coercion of color of monophonic areas to Web-colors

Let's tell, you have an image which is necessary for optimizing in format GIF with usage of palette Perceptual (Considering perception), Selective (Selective) or Adaptive (Adaptive), but in the image there are the monophonic areas which color is not included into palette Web. Before to load the image in a network, it is possible to replace colors of such areas with the close Web-colors.

  1. Open the image in program ImageReady and produce its optimization in format GIF.
  2. Select tool Eyedropper (Pipette).
  3. Click on the monophonic area which color it is necessary to replace with Web-color (fig. 23.56).
  4. Open the color lookup table. The sample of color on whom you just clicked, will be selected (fig. 23.57).
  5. Click by button Web Snap (Coercion to palette Web) in the lower part of a palette. On the selected sample of color there will be a tag in the form of diamond - it means that color has been changed to equivalent to it Web-color.
  6. At will. Click by button Lock Color (to Block color) to save the given element in the color lookup table even if the amount of colors in palette GIF will be reduced.
