Selection of the whole layer

Select a layer, then use menu command Select About All (to Select> All) or push key pattern Ctrl+A. The frame surrounds all layer entirely.

To select only opaque пикселы a layer, push CTRL key and the layer on palette Layers (Layers) - fig. 5.1, 5.2 clicks by name. Or click on the sample of a layer the right mouse button and from the shortcut menu select element Select Layer Transparency (to Select transparent пикселы a layer).
