Join of layers

Attention

Command Flatten Image (the Plane image) unites visible at present layers, allocates result on a place of the lowermost visible layer and deletes the hidden layers.

  1. Be convinced that all layers which you want to unite, are visible (at them there is a tag in the form of an eye) - fig. 7.55 see. Not very well, what layer is at present active.
  2. From the menu palettes Layers (Layers) select command Flatten Image (the Plane image). If in a file any hidden layers contain, there will be a warning; to complete operation, click by button OK (fig. 7.56). If in the lowermost layer there were any transparent points, they become white.

Other commands of merge

To merge copies of all visible at present layers or dial-ups of layers in the lowermost visible layer (it can be the new, specially created layer), at pushed button Alt from menu Layer (Layer) or the menu palettes Layers (Layers) select command Merge Visible (to Merge visible).

For merge of the bound layers from the menu of palette Layers or menu Layer select command Merge Linked (to Merge connected). This command deletes the hidden bound layers. Before it to fulfill, it is necessary to connect layers in a dial-up of layers (it is impossible to use easier dial-up).

For merge of layers in cutting off group activate a layer which name is underlined, and then from menu Layer or the menu of palette Layers select command Merge Group (to Merge group). This command deletes the hidden layers or the hidden layers entering into group.
